We combine traditional glassworking techniques with contemporary methods, using high-quality Murano glass from Murano, Italy — a material whose history, depth, and craftsmanship continually fascinate us. Through glassblowing, fuming, and framework, we create one-of-a-kind art pieces in our atelier located in Zürich, each existing as a unique creation in the world.

Glass:

Murano glass is a highly valued material by artists for its exceptional quality, vibrant colors, and versatility. Crafted using centuries-old techniques, it offers endless creative possibilities and connects artists to a long history of craftmanship and artistry, making each piece truly special.

Recycling/Sustainability: Glass - including Murano glass - is 100% recyclable. Older glass pieces can be melted down and reused, minimizing environmental impact.

For us, it is important to give you the opportunity to create your own compositions and expressions. That’s why some of our designs are created for mix-and-match, allowing you to play with different colors, sizes and shapes.

Additionally, we offer custom-designed color combinations and size variations, creating pieces that reflect your uniqueness and individual wishes. The price range for custom creations is between chf 60 and chf 200, depending on size, quantity and complexity. Handle your pieces with care — laflordelsol jewelry is expertly crafted and with proper care, can be cherished for years.

Glass pieces require extra attention, as they are created at temperatures of up to 1200°C. This process gives them both strength and delicacy. They are handcrafted using glass specially created for jewelry, it is still important to avoid drops and contact with hard surfaces.

Hoops and plated items:

· Keep them dry — avoid contact with water, lotions and perfumes

· Remove them before showering or swimming

· Store them in a dry place
