“Cielo” Handcrafted Glass Necklace
Cielo is my masterpiece so far in my journey of becoming a glass artist. It’s a homage to those moments when we feel the purest, the lightest and most connected to ourselves. Whoever wears it, I hope you feel confident expressing your own uniqueness and beauty.
I chose transparent borosilicate glass for its sparkling yet quiet presence, allowing the necklace to become one with the person who wears it. Without colour, it takes on the light, the colours and the energy around it. It becomes a reflection of the wearer’s individuality, effortlessly finding its place with every style, every mood, every personality.
It catches and dances with the light, creating the feeling of wearing tiny sparks of sunlight. And in those moments when you feel most connected to your purest self, Cielo reflects that inner light, a gentle reminder of your own beautiful sparkle.

Main material: Borosilicate glass Color: Transparent / Clear
Borosilicate glass is known for its exceptional clarity and strength. It is lightweight yet remarkably durable, making it beautifully suited for delicate, wearable creations.
Each Cielo necklace is flame-worked by hand, allowing the glass to take shape slowly and precisely. A precise and technical material is transformed into an organic, one-of-a-kind piece. The subtle variations that emerge during the making are part of what makes each creation unique.
After being formed, every necklace is placed in a kiln for a controlled annealing process. The glass is gradually brought to and held at a specific temperature before being slowly cooled. This helps relieve internal stresses within the glass and ensures that each piece is strong, stable, and ready to be worn.
Rework & Repair
One of the qualities I love about borosilicate glass is that it can be reheated and reworked. This means that, in some cases, a damaged necklace can be repaired or restored rather than replaced.
Please treat your necklace with care and avoid drops or hard impacts. If your piece becomes damaged over time, feel free to contact me at hola.laflordelsol@gmail.com or via Instagram. I will assess the damage and let you know whether it can be reworked. A repair fee will apply depending on the type and extent of the damage.
Every Cielo Borosilicate Glass Necklace is fully handcrafted, one by one, by Michèle, using traditional glassworking techniques combined with contemporary methods. Each necklace is made to order, allowing me to take the time needed to create every piece with passion, care, and intention, ensuring that each creation is truly unique.
Because each necklace is individually handcrafted, please allow up to 14 days for production after placing your order.
Your necklace will be shipped with Swiss Post. Delivery usually takes 2–3 business days, and you will receive an email with a tracking number as soon as your package has been shipped.
